Happy 4th of July!

We are so blessed to live in a country where we can worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! I was reading The Baptist Voice last night, and they listed the many countries where men and women are being killed for their faith, yet here we are in America--the perfect opportunity to reach our nation for Christ, but we sit back in our recliners on soulwinning/visitation night, and tell the pastor you don't have time or you are too tired. I know that there are sometimes circumstances hinder but even on a daily basis are we telling someone about Jesus? I know that I fail constantly, but I am so thankful that Jesus was not too tired or too busy to go to the cross for me and you. America, we need to wake up! One day, our freedom could be taken away, and we will wonder what happened. God has given us so much freedom, but we take it all for granted. Americans are needing what we as Christians have right now. We are living in hard times as far as the economy goes, and people are looking for answers, for peace. And we have Him...will you go to America? I have failed so often to tell people about the Lord, but if I am truly thankful for what the Lord has done for me, why should I not tell? Why should you not tell someone today? Let's truly thank the Lord for what He has given us this 4th of July and ask His forgiveness for what we have take for granted.

Jennifer, thank you for your precious comments left on my blog. I so appreciate your prayers for my dear husband.

Yes, it does seem that when we go through darkness or storms, God is much closer. I think He lifts the veil a bit and allows us to see Him more. What encouragement we receive from His mighty hand and everlasting love!

My husband continues to go through tests. I will know more soon. And we are believing for God's handiwork in our lives.

Bless you! Take care.

Andrea
